The sky was dark and overcast this morning and by 930am, it was drizzling. This is about the time that Kate normally heads downstairs to the coffeeshop with the in-laws. Seeing that the weather was bad, the MIL tried to discourage Kate from going down.
MIL: xia yu le, wo men bu yao xia qu (it's raining, let's not go downstairs)
Kate: na yu san (take umbrella)
