It's a tradition with us where we always gather as a family to eat together to celebrate special occasions - celebrations of the public holiday kinds and birthdays. The birthday celebrity gets to pick the meal option and it's always a fun affair filled with love because there's nothing better than being with family.
Today, we celebrate Mom's upcoming birthday.

Simple Chinese fare at the restaurant of her pick. Followed by desserts (our choice). It doesn't feel like a birthday if there's no song so it feels right that we sang a song and blew out a candle.
