Jacob Ballas Children's Garden

Kate and her bicycle...
Which she couldn't really cycle. We made it this from from the car before it was abandoned.  I put it back into the boot. It was a wise move.
COCONUT! (It's not)
My stripey babies
Rickety bridge!
<3
She bravely trots up and down the bridge several times on her own.
We made it to the treehouse! She was more interested in sand-play than the treehouse & slides.
She made new friends very quickly. (They bond over toys)
Jake enjoying the sunshine
MOSSIE ATTACK! (her arm)
The one and only time she made it up the treehouse
And we slid down the slide together once
Charlotte joins us!
Jake snoozes
We found a big hole in a tree
All 3 having fun (heh)
Water play!
Kate and Charlotte spent most of their time playing this way. Kate dumping water over Charlotte's head. She didn't mind at all and seemed rather delighted and tickled by the cold water.
Sharing a snack
Happy children!

It was rather fun. The trip there was last-minute (only decided last evening) and I'm glad I managed to find a play-mate for Kate. She definitely is more fun now and able to enjoy play so it does make it very worthwhile to bring her out. I'm also glad that I have Fridays to do special outings with her. Time spent with the children is so precious because they just grow up too quickly!

Happy weekend!
